I was trying really hard to get some homework done today. But then something happened. Henry came up to me and wanted to sit by me. He sat on my lap as we looked at random pictures on the computer.
When he connects like this, there is nothing else in the world that matters.
Maybe it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but for 45 minutes straight he sat on my lap, and the entire time he had his hand on my arm. Sometimes I can’t get him to settle down for more than 5 minutes.
They don’t come often, but when they do, I cherish these moments immensely.
